Listening/headphone/speaker port damaged

My headphone port was damaged when the headphone plug was forced out and look some plastic part of my notebook. Then when I plug headphones in, it is not stable and moves around. I suspect some metal part has bent away from the port. I am too sacred to open the notebook myself and check it first. or it it expensive to replace?
What should I do? The warranty has expired.

Expensive to replace. Difficult to find. Your best bet is finding another with a bad board or a broken screen to trade parts, methinks. But any audio tech or a friend skilled in audio should be able to repair fromspari parts.
