Long distances charges

Hi,

I just got the Palm Pre on the bell network. My friend from PEI called me on my cell phone while I was still here in ontario. My question is, will I be charged for that call because he was calling my cellular phone?

Yah I talked with bell and they said 90 cents. I thought that was per minute and wanted to kill myself. Turns out it was just for the call itself.

The normal charges are

• air time
• long distance
• roaming
• data

the originator gets hit with everything applicable and the recipient only for air time.

Then there's always the promo's or your service plan which may have line items like cell-to-cell within the same service provider is free
