I'm looking for a program to convert videos to a form playable on Play Station 3s (e.g. mp4). I've got 64bit OS and CPU, with 4 cores.

Handbrake has a native 64bit version. It is a great encoder with simple options for normal people, and then you can also tweak all the individual stuff if you want more advanced options.

Handbrake is great. I like realplayer though, there is an option to convert to PS3 format, not sure if it works though lol

I use FormatFactory, and it too has an option to convert to ps3, psp or xbox format.
It will also do the job for your android and apple devices.
