Mac Mini problem that I just cant solve

Hi all,

Ive bought a Mac Mini and have been using it every day for a few hours for the last 3 - 4 weeks now.

And one day when i started up the mac my screen kept flashing on and off. Like the hole interface is there for one minuet then it goes black and comes back for a while then dispaeares again!

Could it just be a broken connection with my monitor? any help much appreciated!

Since it is new, talk to Mac tech support for a fix, so you do not void the warranty.

Thing is, it was bought on eBay so i dont think ill be able to that. any idea what is could be though?

bad monitor cable; test it by moving to to another system.

So you mean the Mac Mini actually boots the system but the screen image keeps turning on & off ? If such is the case, it would indeed seem like a dodgy connection to the screen.

If it seems like the system is powering on & off every second then it would seem more like a power problem.
