MacBook Pro will randomly now not connect to the Internet

    hi all...

    Im having some problems with my macbook pro... its the unibody one.
    basically a couple of weeks ago my internet connection stopped working, although when i run network diagnostics all is fine, i have reset the system preferences folder to reset the network settings and i am still having no luck. Does any one else have any ideas?

    Is there any difference when you used the wired connection to the router or wireless ? Have you tried using an third party DNS server like OpenDNS ?

    heya yep iv tried the different connection types and still no luck also its not just on my router or home network because it is the same on my friends when i take it there

    You can always Buy a new Airport Card (WiFi), If not, then your Mac might have to get serviced.

    If you have a wireless router, reset it. This same thing happened to my iPad about a month ago, and that solved the problem. Hope this helps!!
