    has any1 here ever set one of these up before? my router currently has an IP of 192.168.15.1 - but this expander comes default with 192.168.1.240 - so i cannot access it from my network - i dont understand what to do with this right now..can anyone help me out with this?

    Both addresses are non-typical, but to make it work, all you need is to change
    one to match the other,
    eg: 192.168.15.1 -> 192.168.1.1 OR
    .... 192.168.1.240-> 192.168.15.240
    notice the change is only the third number.
    Both will need a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0

    how can u change the the expander to 15.240?

    did you try the manual?? normally, you would use your browser and access
    192.168.1.240/ (without the http://)
    login
    and then
    change its address,
    apply the setting (which should restart the device)

    to verify; attempting to access 192.168.1.240/ SHOULD timeout
    and accessing 192.168.15.240/ SHOULD prompt for a login again :)

    oh you can login without the http://? i was trying it with it, im prob gonna have to hardwire it first rite?

    yep! If there's no login prompt, just move to the router and open its
    address and then move you net to the expander's address range
