    Not sure this is the right fourm. I have spent hours trying to locate information on how to locate the expiration date for Mcafee on a newly purchased dell insprion lap top. I even did a chat. Did not get to far. Most of the versions are 7.2 8.2. The first date I see is 10-3 07 and there have been later updatesto the machine. Does the DAT have anything to do with it. I am lost! Thanks in advance.

    Usually there is the word Help at the top of the McAfee menu. You click Help and then click About McAfee and that should tell you the subscription expiration date.

    I edited my post to make my explanation a bit more clear.

    You should have a McAfee icon on the bottom right hand side of your screen in the task bar. Right click the icon and please tell me the options you are given.
