    Can anybody tell me if there is a MD version available for free download with a 2.6.7 kernel or higher pre-installed?

    (I'm still struggling with my Globespan chipset USB modem under earlier kernel versions than that, and would like to avoid the hassle of patching it.)

    In the mean time, I'm going to see if the ECIADSL driver is still a usermode only thing.

    strike that. It's not stable yet with kernels above and including 2.6.7 apparently. :(
