When I try playing a video file, my computer freezes up. After getting the taks manager to load up, it says that the media player file is using 99-100% of my system resources. This does not happen if I play an audio file. And if I just open media player without selecting a video file the computer runs fine. The same thing happens if I run DivX.
I have all the current Windows updates, minus service pack 2. I have the newest drivers for my video card. I've ran Virus and spyware checks and can't figure out for the life of me why this is happening. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
