Megaworks 510d + Promedia DD-5.1 compatible?

I am planning to buy the 510d instead of the PM 5.1. My problem is that either speakers doesn't come with Dolby Digital or DTS decoders which I need for watching DVD's and Xbox. I am currently using a DTT2500 (original version). Does the Promedia DD-5.1 decoder work non-Klipsch speakers? The Promedia DD-5.1 can decode both DD and DTS and sells for $169.

Yes, it'll work with other system, though you might need a few (3) mini-jack to RCA cables, like this http://www.peats.ie/cgi-bin/shop/db.cgi?view=1&id=1999&type=6&path=11x153x525 course that depends a bit of the Megaworks 510D inputs, pretty sure it 3 mini-jacks anyway, the pro-media decoder has 6 RCA outputs far as I remember (hence the adapter cables).
