  1. Event Message : The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007f (0x00000008, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was saved in: C:\WINNT\MEMORY.DMP.

    My Server is Restarting by itself as Its an Application server and most of the time in a day it should be runing as my businees is retail business and I cannot afford my Server to be restarted during working hours.

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

    A bugcheck code of 7F, is mostly associated with a ram problem(see below).


    One of three types of problems occurred in kernel-mode: (1) Hardware failures. (2) Software problems. (3) A bound trap (i.e., a condition that the kernel is not allowed to have or intercept). Hardware failures are the most common cause (many dozen KB articles exist for this error referencing specific hardware failures) and, of these, memory hardware failures are the most common.

    Go and read this thread HERE and see if it helps you to identify the culprit.
