Memory Leaks

  1. Another question, how can I test for memory leaks in a particular program? I am using a database program, MS Access engine, that is extremely slow even in a robust computer.

The question has been raised that it may have a "memory leak" and that could be or contribute to the slowness.

Any help, as always, is appreciated.

How many records in it? The more the records in access, the slower the database.

It is a fairly large relational database that resides on a server. It is a point of sale database used in a small business, retail store with a few different locations. The computers are new 3.2ghz P4s with a minimum of 512MB of ram

Just take a look at the memory usage of the program in Task Manager and see if it grows to insane sizes over time?
