Memory Problem reboots PC

I am having trouble setting my RAM at 200mhz, everytime i try to run an application with the RAM set at 200mhz the system reboots. the only way i can get my system to run is too have the ram set at 166mhz. Any ideas why?

AMD64 athlon x2 4400+
Gigabyte k8n sli-pro
7800GT nvidia Gigabyte
4x512 Corsair RAM
160gb Seagate HDD
380w PSU

tried doing a diagnostic on the ram like memtest? swap slots? one at a time?

What type of RAM do you have speed wise? Your MOBO might only allow for 166Mhz for the RAM. 166MHz still faster than the old 133MHz.
