Memory Questions (Kingston)

I was looking to upgrade my memory from 1GB to 2GB because of my upgrade to vista. Newegg.com has some great prices and Kingstons Hyperx ram stood out to me well basically because of its appearance and price. I emailed kingston and they told me the Hyperx is not compatible with my pc (Dell Dimension 3000), but their regular ram is which is about the same price. I was just wondering if anyone has ever used this ram before or if they know if it would work with my pc. I have it ordered already and have to wait till after the weekend to try to install it.
