  1. Hi All,

New on this site, never posted a thread before so here goes.....:)

    I have a Dell Dimension 3000......

    P4 Processor 3.0Ghz 800 fsb 1mb

    512Mb Ram DDR400

I want to upgrade my memory to 1Gig, checked Dell website and not having much luck. Can anyone help with what type of memory is suitable.

    Many thanks for anyones help.

PC3200 would be fine. Is that 512MB in one or two sticks? You can either try to get another 512MB that has the same specs or just replace it with two 512MB sticks. Crucial value ram should work just fine.

Thanks for that, its got 2 x 256 sticks so 2 x 512 should do it then?
