mentor adsl 4 port router; problems...

    Hi I have tiscali broadband, it works fine but I have recently brought a router and I am trying to run teh broadband throgh the router. I have downloaded the recommended settings from tiscali, but it still will not work (it works for a few minutes at a time but then keeps cutting off.
    I currently have a dynamic IP address and I am using a mentor adsl router (which I know works because they tested it for me in the shop).

    Any help would be much appreciated (as I have already spent alot on the tech support helpline to tiscali!!).
