all i know is that if i had 2 of these in raid 0 all my worries and waiting for stuff to load would be over i mean look at how fast it was loading windows that was insane. I use photoshop a lot so i liked how much faster it loaded the pictures this would be a great buy if i didnt have to sell a kidney just to own one of them.

I won't be buying it at that price but in a few years, heck yeah. The prices of all SSD's have dropped a lot so I don't expect it to be too long before this drive is more affordable.

Thats pretty fast. Todays HDD are pretty slow imo SSDs are the thing now I'm quite fed up waiting on almost 1TB of files to go on my external.. .took about a couple hrs if I can remember correctly thats quite slow in todays fast pace world. When will we lose the SATA and move PCs to SSD too I want to see when that day comes.

How big is it? I want size AND performance. So far Raiding four or so 2TB drives is really, really fast and has enormous capacity.

it would take 4 to 6 WD raptors in raid just to hit around the same speeds this SSD has which would actually cost more than just getting the SSD lol.
  9. This doesn't seem much faster than the OCZ Vortex Turbo 120GB SSD's
(OCZSSD2-1VTXT120G) that are out right now.

Also how do these compare to the SanDisk ExtremeFFS SSD drives?

this is also running at 3gb instead of 6 like its meant to run at.
