I don't understand. you are a tech-savvy dude right? then why in the world do you think a desktop PC is more important than laptops, tablets or other mobile devices?
you do realise that not every laptop or even PC comes with 16GB of RAM? 4Gb is actually the norm for pre built PCs or laptops. and the average Joe don't even know what ram is and that you can upgrade it.
as for battery life, it's THE most important optimisation of them all. Win7 is just utter crap when it comes to this. I'll continue enjoying games and using the internet as I travel while you'll be playing flappy bird on your phone because you can't take your PC with you.
wake up, you are not living in an age where big tower PCs are the bulk of the sales.

PS: the round corners... I'm so glad they removed them. same as aero.
PS2: not everybody has your crappy, high end, Intel cpu.

I don't think I necessarily wanted to suggest that desktops are more important than laptops. That depends on who you are and what you use your computing devices for.

My whole gripe with Windows 10 is trying to have one size fits all. They realized this was a monumental failure in the release of Windows 8. So what have they done for Windows 10? They've thrown the dogs a couple of bones, hoping like hell that the dogs won't notice all the "other" tablet crap still stinking up the place. Hoping that the dogs will settle back down and be happy. My gripes are almost always about Windows 10 in the context of a ....DESKTOP... because that's my favorite place. So, please read and understand my posts in that context. I really couldn't care less about playing video games on a screen the size of a postage stamp. Or watching movies on a postage stamp screen. Our monitor sizes and resolutions keep going up, and we keep trying to make that "workable or viable" on smaller devices at the very same time. It's two opposite and opposing forces of nature working against each other. But Microsoft wants it all to be harmonious. It's crazy stuff.

I can't wait for 4k cellphones to be released. LOL. Now that is one hilarious concept.

Why not a future with Windows 10 for all sizes? Might inconvenience us while they get it right with the bugs n all but can't be too long before its here. Thats the future baby
