Hope they set it as high as possible, GPU market needs a good kicking.

LOL wonder how many years it will take before they make a game that actually needs a hardware upgrade, this will be a good game for a change but damn even this only needs 3-4 year old hardware, developers are REALLY pathetic this day

It's another console port, that's why it's so low.

Sure they will, I played through the first with an 8800 and mostly high settings.

What the heck are you talking about? The original would run on a 6800gt for god's sake. It would not look pretty, but it would run.

  6. I don't have a problem at all with the minimum specs except the GPU. 3850 or higher eh? I currently have a 5570 and I don't game at high resolutions anyway. I'll try to get away with it and force Crysis 2 to play on my system but if it really is unplayable then I guess it's time for a better video card.

On my XMD X3 720BE (with the 4th core unlocked) and no overclocking and using an AMD 5750 video card, the demo runs smooth on the Advanced setting at 1280x1024 (don't have widescreen).

Of course, that was with just me on the server and no one else. Have to try tonight with other people (and watch getting my butt spanked royally) and see the performance.

I already pre-ordered my copy via Steam.

Oops, I meant AMD Phenom II X3, not XMD.
