windows xp home edition missing shell32.dll message halts normal and safe mode boot. is there a way to run system restore from command line? help, oh please help. thank you, gentlemen tt
Im not sure but u can try this... Put the windows disk in the drive then let the computer boot up. When the windows disk is in the drive i think its supposed 2 automatically check 4 errors and stuff and restore them. System restore doesnt restore files! Sorry if this doesnt work!
pop in a windows disc, boot computer from CD rom (if its not letting you hop into your BIOS and change the boot sequence), and follow the onscreen prompts - you should have the option to repair an existing windows xp installation. sounds like you got hit by a nasty little virus.
