I have an old Dell XPS with a trinitron monitor running on XP. Had a power outage and now my monitor is not working properly. Double images and fading out. Can anyone tell me if this is the monitor or could it be software (drivers)? I plan to pick up a 2nd hand monitor in the meantime. Overall the computer is running fine. I have a minimal surge protector.
