Monitor won't let me adjust brightness contrast etc?

Its a SyncMaster 206bw and it won't let me change the brightness, contrast or colours... any ideas.

The only thing I've done is use a colour profile from here (because it was an A )

What video card are you using with this SyncMaster A?

If you are using DVI you have very little on monitor control. Try to make adjustments with the card's control panel.

I'm using a 8800GTX Ultra and thing is, it was letting change stuff before

EDIT: Fixed, another forum suggested resetting the monitor by going on onto the menu and holding the source button for 5 seconds
