I've been playing it (C&C3) on a Core2Duo (6400) with a 7800GS at 1280x900. It runs fine until there are a ton of units (or maybe just later in a stage). Then the sound becomes choppy and the controls seem jerky. So I don't know what is up with that, I haven't tried lowering the details so maybe thats next, but the sound issue almost sounds like a CPU related problem to me, and that shouldn't be a problem. Although I am running it in Vista...

@ SNGX, I think u answered it yourself with the last line. The jerkiness is most likely due to insufficient RAM and the game going to swapfile. Vista is a well known RAM hog so no surprises there.

I got 2 gigs of RAM in it.. I'll fire up the task manager and watch what happens, in XP though it would just jump up to slightly over 1 gig of RAM used. I know Vista handles it differently, but I'd hope it would toss the game in real RAM rather than page it.

I loved Battlefield 2:Modern Combat for Xbox. I most recently bought the Battlefield2 Complete Collection for PC. It includes Bf2, special forces expansion, and the multiplayer expansions Euro Forces and Armored Fury. It's the same thing as the Xbox version but with alot more material. From tear gas to automatic sniper rifles. This is my current favorite.

    MMORPG choice: World of Warcraft
I play on server Runetotem, name "Gothard" if anyone else plays :D
