Mother Board does fit in new case

  1. Sir Loin Newcomer, in training

    I am getting ready to swap a motherboard into an old case, someone told me once that sometimes the motherboard doesn't fit into the case correctly, is this true? Before I do anything I need to know this so it doesn't haunt me later on.

    It all depends on the form factor of your case.

    Take a look at the link for info on the different form factors.

    Most of todays mobos are in the atx form factor and therefore require an atx case.
