Motherboard bodged????

Hi everyone,
If i'm trying to install a game all files will be corrupt also if I had a download about 8.2mb and above it won't install it is a winfast motherboard with an xp 2000+ processor on it, recently I have a ttempted to update the bios althought it took 10hours and did nothing so I had to restart the computer, if I need a new motherboard could someone possibly recommend a good one the socket is 754.

I use an A-bit NF7-S Iss.2 mobo and the same processor as you. I recon the mobo is pretty good and I've had absolutely no problems with it. It only cost me £36 and i recon its the best bit of PC kit I've bought in a while.
