Hi there, I am currently looking for a modern setup to replace my slightly aged second-hand system. I have decided on the 939 AMD Athlon 64bit so I had a look around and found the ECS NFORCE4-A939 for a low price, unfortunately the connectors on the back would foul with the holes in the back of my PC case, the template in the back seems to be removable but I wondered if I can be assured that any ATX motherboard I buy will always fit the hole at the back of the case??

The backplate size is ATX standard. Just remove the one you are using with your current mobo and replace it with the one that comes with your new motherboard.

Okay get yourself a saber saw, some mini hand files, scissors, tin snips, a router, a grinder, a polisher, a 20oz hammer, a dremmel tool with an attachment set. You'll need some metal paint and......

on never mind, just listen to nodsu.
