Motherboard will not boot

I am building a system and it will not boot..This is what is going on once I hit the on switch...

1) The keyboard lights come on
2) The monitor is not detected
3) If I pull out all of the RAM no error is detected
4) The Power Supply is working
5) The HDD is fine because it came out of a working system
6) The RAM is fine because it came out of a working system
7) I installed a new video card to no avail
8) The CPU fan works

Any ideas where I should go next?

Go HERE and read my post.

How do you know that the psu works?

Did you reformat the hard drive before you put it in this system?

Did you use thermal past when putting in the cpu and heatsink?

Did you use the standoffs for the mobo?
