Hi,For some reason the right click on my mouse is not working,eg it wont copy anything of web pages.I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, any ideas how to get it back,it is just a standard corded mouse, odd thing is my son who is also running vista has the same problem, could it be IE 7.

Some web sites do not allow the right click copy function (ie it has been disabled)

As long as the right click works in Windows (ie try Notepad or something)
Also try the right click in TechSpot as well (Highlight - then right click - copy)

If this works, then it must be the specific web sites that you are going to.

What do you mean:

Right click is not working at all ?
Copy and paste is not working in Notepad ?
Copy and paste is not working on TechSpot ?

Pls answer the above

MS Help says that too, but I cannot see where right click mouse functions exists. (in Xp - pls disregard, as you have vista)

Help and support also says try removing the mouse in Device Manager and re-installing, this may help.

in vista its the second drop down box the first is left click function the second one is right click function

Right click is working
Copy and paste is working in Notepad
Copy and paste is not working on TechSpot ? (or any other Internet sites)

Go to "Tools" in IE menu bar
Note pressing ALT, will show the menu bar in IE7

Then Internet Options (under Tools)
Advanced Tab
Restore Advanced Settings Button
Ok

Restart IE

You may also download CCleaner to remove all temp files on your system

Test again
