Hi all, does anyone have any idea why a new MS-7058 would not boot. I've done all of the usual, swapped memory, removed un-necessary disk drives etc. Only things plugged in are: CPU, DDR RAM, DVD and HDD. Brand new board, memory, HDD, DVD... any clues? CPU is seated correctly. I'm stuck now, can anyone help please. Regards. Adrian.

have you tried a different power supply?
Could the CMOS reset be set to reset? (I've seen it on new boards before...)
Have you tried different vid cards? (in case of compatibility issues)
Have you tried the mobo, cpu, etc out of the case? Could be a short to the case...

    New MSI board

    Hi Bug

Thanks for the reply, had already done all of that the only thing I couldn't swap out was the board itself, I only had the one. It turned out that the board was in fact DOA. Once again, thanks for your suggestions. Best wishes, Adrian.
