hi....I'm Katie (sorry about the spelling)...and i kind of removed my multimedia audio controller....i have no sound but my computer it self makes most annoying/worse them AOL noise. on my device manager list multimedia audio controller has yellow question mark with an exclamation mart also. when i turn on my computer a window pops up to install it when i press install it searches and then shows me that it cant find something!!! i have no idea what my motherboard make and model means so i have no idea what is it on my computer all i know its Dell and XP home edition about 5 years old! please help because im very attached to music....and the "beep" drives me insane!
