  1. I took out a network card and installed a dial up modem. I have loaded Aol also. But when my pc is turned off it loses all of this and I have to again reinstall everything. How do I save this information to my hard drive so that I don't continue to lose it.
I also have tryed repeatedly to remove Networking software programs form my PC. But when it is re-booted the same software appears again.

How do I get the Networking programs out of my PC

I have a compaq deskpro that was given to me. I removed the networking card and added a dialup modem. But I am not being able to remove all the software that was used for the networking. When I do remove it, it comes right back after I re-boot my pc. How in the world do I keep this stuff off my pc?
