My Dell XPS m1530 laptop

Ok so I was playing a game a day ago and I had a LCD screen hooked up to my vga port when I was playing it I heard a noises then my laptop froze I powered it off then back on now my dell logo is all messed up it has red dots all over it and when I get to me destop my nvidia is saying this now. you are not currenty using a display attached to an nvidia gpu. and now my vga ports not working I would like to no how to fix this all

Im gonna take a guess and your GPU got overloaded and died or it just died from use I had to replace my gpu in my laptop I got an adapter and am using an ATI Radeon 9600XT

If the gpu died then wouldnt that mean that the screen woulndnt be working anymore becuz my srceens working fine

it may just have enough live left in it to display

If it didn't damage motherboard, it could revert to inbuilt graphics.

So if that is the case that the gpu is died were do I buy a new one or how do I replace it

Not sure. You usually don't. Although, it may be possible for an experienced pc tech shop to do it. IMO it's not worth the cost.
