my fan is really loud, and my hd are really hot!!! :S

    I don't know what to do i can't concentrate!!! when i turn on my computer the fan starts spinning really fast, its annoying please help!!!
    my computer is a dell dimension 8300... if u need to know more things please ask! ty ty ty

    You can't really do anything about that. You could do what someone suggested on here and take the sticker off the fan and put some oil and graphite down the hole. Or you can just buy a quieter fan. Open the case up and make sure the fan isn't rubbing against a wire.

    the oil and graphite don't sound really safe i think they might damage my fan... can u link me some good sites where i can buy good fans... oh and can u tell me more about the wire? what do i need to do, open the case then look if a wire is on the fan?... ty anyway...
