My laptop monitor won't turn on

i have a hp laptop that i have been using for a while. all of a sudden out of the blue when i go to start the computer the monitor doesnt turn on. the computer turns opn just fine but the screen isnt. i tried taking the battery out and then starting up without the battery but it still did not work. i dont now what the problem is and it isnt a contrast problem or anything with settings.

First you need to connect the laptop to a stand alone monitor to check that this is not a graphics problem.

u may think of so many ways to solv the problem igues what u need to do is check your ram and try replasing . If these doesnt work out that will be definatly be amother board probem

toget the on board solution state your laptop grphic specifications
