Need help for my Dv9428nr

  1. I have a Dv9428nr and format it and reinstall windows XP
    but the problem is I forgot it came with windowx Vista so and Do have de recovery boot disk, so it would be very nice if someone could help me thanks

    Your HP Pavilion Dv9428nr notebook was designed for Vista. HP does not offer XP drivers for this model. You will need to get a XP install disc and hopefully when you update XP to SP3, you will have a fully working notebook computer. Good luck

    thanks to trying to help

    I know how to restart it I already install Sp3 and it work fine but still need to have vista to have my dvd writer to work properly, that's why I'm asking if someone have
    the system startup cd or a laptop like mine to create one for me

    Vista has built in CD/DVD burning software... XP does not. You will need to install a 3rd party burning program like Nero or Alcohol 120%. Actually there are many others that are free
