need help with video card/ irq

    hi, I am trying to change the irq settings because my Video Card and usb controller are both sharing the same irq number.

    I got into device manager and looked up the usb controller. I want to change the irq settings but everything is faded out

    I am using windows 2000 and I am logged in as administrator.

    how can I change the irq setting in that window?

    I tried changing them in bios but everytime I change the irq for the usb controller, the number for the video card gets changed to the same number as well!

    can anyone help?
