Need to get VIdeo off non-digital camera

  1. Hey Fellas,

    I hope this is the right section :)

    What i have is just a regular video camera with some footage.
    I need to get that footage on my PC.

    I had thought of hooking up a VCR to my TV, playing it then getting some kind of software to view it on my PC at the same time, and grab it that way...but am not sure what software i could use.

    I have the 9700 Pro Video Card - had S-Video, etc.

    If anyone has any ideas, that would be great!

    You need a video card with video in or a special video capture card. Most likely it will have to be SVHS (S-Video) input (depends on your camera). If you can do it through a VCR then composite input will do too.

    Also, I do the same thing using a tv card.
