  1. Is anyone currently playing BF2 using a AGP card without lag, or is there a AGP card on the market that plays BF" at decent frame rate.
I read a review recently about a new AGP card but cant remember which one it is, anyone know.

Want to eventually upgarde to PCI-E but means near enough new system so cant afford to yet.

    Cheers

A 7800gs should handle most any game and it's agp.
Also a 6800gt, 6800gs, or 7600gt(the agp versions of each), would also be nice cards capable of playing modern games well.

Make sure your power supply can handle a new card, most cards like this "require" a 350W+ psu of good quality.

if you are an Nvidia fan that would be the way to go with the 7800gtx or just the 7800..i on the other hand would get the radeon X850XT platinum Edition for Agp.. it is the same one i have in my gaming box...it rocks BF2 no lag at all even on highest graphic settings...just make sure you have a fast prcoessor so that you don't end up bottle necking at the root of your system..( the proc ) thats not good..good luck mate

I guess it technically is a 7600gs if it's agp.

i saw this article and assumed that

"7600GS just might be the answer to keep you waiting for the first wave of DX10 mainstream parts, which is currently scheduled to hit the street during CeBIT of 2007"

means it is being released in 2007, but the title says

"7600 to come as AGP too

CeBIT 2006This summer features last train for AGP"

im not sure which one it is..2007..2006...any takes?
