17mb movie of in game action of the long awaited SOF2...

    Article with movie at pc.ign.com

1 minute 10 seconds worth. Its looking good but it has taken some time to get here. With RTCW and MOH having been released I'm unsure of what impact SOF2 will have on the fps market....

This game is looking VERY good. I can't wait, myself :D
Same with IGI 2, it's set to be alot better than the original.

    Ghoul II?

What has this been used for before?
I saw in the mpeg that they use this technology?
    Anyone familiar with it?

    Re: Ghoul II?

Soldier of Fortune used Ghoul 1.

Ah ok. So its their graphics engine and not an engine licensed from some other software company (al la Q3).

They licensed the Q3 engine for SOF2 the same way they licensed the Q2 engine for SOF1. The Ghoul engine is their own internal code for skeletal animation & hitpoints. They just integrated it with the Quake engine.
