Java supported phones are finally making their appearance from Nokia:

Somehow I can't seem to find how much space is available in the phone to store Java proggies. Cool nonetheless.

Yeah, that seems like it has been in the waiting for a while. I wonder how much this thing would cost and when it is going to come to the USA. As it is of no use to me in Europe and Africa :). hehe

It's been taking a while alrite. I've d/lded the SDK for the PersonalJava stuff on Sun's website and gave it a run. Pretty interesting stuff. Kinda easy to write a program (they call it MIDLet) to do stuff. Something like an applet, where you need a container to run the program.

I'm sure it'll definitely cost a bomb. New Nokia models always come out REALLY expensive at first, but their prices drop very dramatically later.

Does it use Sun Java or M$ Java?

    Definitely Sun Java.
