New PC freezes while gaming/bechmark only

Hi everyone,

I have this strange problem since i assembled my new PC.

It works perfect until i start a game (tried GTA IV and BF3), after a couple of minutes of playing the PC just completely locks up, mouse or keyboard does not react and de HDD led on the computer just burns constantly.
the sound turns into a sort of soft distorting noise, and sometimes after a while the monitor says: no signal.

the only way to get the PC working again is by holding the power button.

I have tried the following:

replaced power supply; (i had a 600w cheap PS and replaced it with the 700w huntkey)

tried a fresh windows 7 install on a normal HDD

tried a fresh install on the SSD

tried a different graphics card (8800gts)

Ran a CPU stress test with Prime95 for about an hour with temperatures stable at 60 degrees celcius. no freezes.

Installed all new drivers for everything.

Ran a GPU benchmark, PC freezes after a while with both graphic cards.

tried using one stick of RAM at a time

voltages and temperatures from the bios:

voltages:
CPU core: 1,208V
CPU i/o: 1,040v
System agent voltage: 0,920v
DRAM voltage: 1,488v
3.3v: 3,360V
5V: 5,045V
12V: 12.144V

temps:

CPU temp: 51 celcius
System temperature: 30 celcius

I ran memtest for about 10 hours, no errors.

Monitured the temperatures while benchmarking, at the moment of the freeze this was the reading:

CPU 43 celcius
MB 45 celcius
GPU 60 celcius
SSD 30 celcius

I have no idea what to try next, so i'm desperatly seeking your help
Thanx in advance!

Have you installed the latest video driver from Nvidias support website? Are the latest motherboard chipset drivers install ed from MSI website? Are you overclocking?

All latest drivers for everything have been installed.

i am not overclocking, aside from the factory overclock my GPU has.

I have built one before, worked perfect right away.
this one, also perfect, except for the gaming/GPU bechmarking part.

It's a nice system... "gaming/GPU bechmarking" Has to be something with the video card settings. Get into the Nvidia control panel and play with the settings there
