A dual 771 board is 8 CPU's, a quad socket (If they make them for intel) Is 16 cores.
375$ For a Quad-Core isnt bad and i bet it will overclock to 3Ghz possibly

Lol on one of those links, one of the reviewers says he gets 130 FPS in Oblivion at 2560x1600. And that he has quad-SLI with 8800GTXs. Nice BS. Stop lying about your system.

Actually, I think I once came up with parts for a system that would have costed over $100,000. With like 8 x dual-core AMD Operon 885. and 128GB of RAM. I forget how much the motherboard cost; it was some crazy thing from Tyan. I think the RAM along was somewhere over 50 grand.

but this is tons more practical (and probably just as fast!)

On the note of overclocking, ASUS made a board 30$ cheaper with the same specs, and there may just be some options in the BIOS
