NFT fans lose millions in video game real estate sales

I stand corrected, your understanding of English is so deep as to be completely obtuse.
I see you have a lot to unload, the funny part is I was agreeing with your initial statement. There you go, crystal clear.

You don’t seem particularly censored to me.

You don’t seem particularly censored to me.
I want you to google or use what ever search engine you use or head over to pc gamer type or look for the following title "
Star Citizen is doing 'bedsheet deformation' physics now, because of course it is" ask the author or journalist "Andy Chalk" where my comments are and look for them.
I gave a source link

cancel culture is cool thing for PC gamer. I really hope one day that pc gamer gets cancel one day I really do. 7k star citizen backer isn't allowed to be angry and speak my mind!!!

tech experts and a lot tech company experts are some of the biggest lairs when come to freedom of speech and expression!!!

"NFT fans lose millions in video game real estate sales"

Another title that nobody would even have dreamed possible a few years ago, never mind to previous generations. Tech Spot should think about collecting some of these in a meta-article.

We need to stop using the meaningful term 'real estate' for something that is utterly UNreal. I mean, it is truly the polar opposite of real estate.

How about 'vreal estate'? At least it gives a clue that we're not talking about actual dirt you can feel with your hands.

Excellent point - it really is an oxymoron- I actually looked up the meaning - and the word permanent was used - obviously buildings & even some land and water features are not truly permanent - but compared to NFTs they are

Average person & 98% =Extreme stupidity and the new get rich quick scheme and chase.
Organized crime & 2% - Look at us money laundering right in front of your faces!
Between the lines facts= Blockchain tech has a use and future.... "Gas fees" and processing times are the proof that shows WHY ETH & BTC will inevitably fail/ collapse and never be adopted as a currency or day to day usage.... The argument is there for BTC as a store of value, but the idea of that lasting is TBD , due to limited supply with no value other than implied* value.... Leads to question that in 50 years when there's no ability to find or add new supply.... Are you left with those holding* arguing between each other of the value, while the masses stand to the side and laugh at them and have no incentive or desire to purchase or own it aka the IMPLIED value ... Is no longer implied by the 98%.

England's, "Magna Carta", was the primary document that established land rights, as it pertains to property ownership, and inheritance rights thereof..

Prior to its signing, any land owned by lower levels of nobility, reverted to the king upon their death. Basically, then, it provides for lands to be transferred to someone's immediate family, instead of being snatched up by the state

June 1216 CE, King John of England was forced to sign the document on the plain of Runnymede, England.

The back story: John was a weak king. He preferred to sleep in late, (10:00 AM or so), after a hard night of banging his 13 year old bride "Isabella". Confronted by the proposition of a full scale rebellion, he capitulated to the baron's terms.

As we all know, there was no electricity back then, and certainly no PCs.

What have we learned? When confronted with a device smarter than themselves (the PC), the human brain will atrophy to the point of being fictitiously sold not only the actual Brooklyn Bridge, but a fictitious NFT thereof.

I am just wondering didn't people make many confessions here on TechSpot that star citizen is the very first nft game? I am told not a victim and I must keep star citizen ok. I have asked CIg for my money back and they refuse.

I was silenced here on MMORPG and Techspot.

I waiting for star citizen to flop or Chris Roberts fails to deliver on all his promises but every day I ask CIG support to give back my money!

being silenced and harassed is so cool it is a cool thing for news organizations to hide from people's honest thoughts and comments and then claim freedom of speech on the internet and expression right?

don't ever talk me about freedom of speech again. I hope no BIG tech CEO never talks about sharing what really think again or forces me to share my thoughts again on the internet.

ghosting and hiding people's comments and pain is really cool!!!

If Russia or china censors journalists I am ok with that you know why journalists and big tech do it to me.

Boo hoo... You naively dumped money into a GAME with warnings all over it that it was/is in alpha and concept that started from a Kickstarter. Have you tried Star Citizen lately or are you too bitter now to bother seeing if you can recoup your loss and actually have "fun"?

In the end though, everything we put our money into, especially for entertainment purposes should be considered a loss. I don't feel sorry for anyone who spends money on something with the assumption it'll give them a return on that investment and then complains when it turns into a sour deal for them, despite the warning signs. You invest, expect to get burned. It's that simple. You mention cancel culture, well how about entitlement. You sound pretty entitle to be part of a special few who feel they can be excluded from all risks associated with investing.

Seriously, go away.

Relax, things will be looking up for you when (or if) Musk finally takes over Twitter. Besides, think of the far greater audience your Butt hurt will be able to reach..! ;) (y) (Y)
I personally think Elon muck does not have a good history on freedom of speech. Just like many tech experts and People from silicon valley are mustily lairs their actions and history clearly show them to be lairs. If you disagree prove me wrong. However, there is a chance Elon musk future actions could be honest but that remains to be seen.

Personally, I think Musk is one of the world's biggest a**holes.

However, I have never been, nor do I ever intend to be, a member at Twitter.

My personal opinion of Musk's Twitter acquisition, "to promote free speech", is an excuse for a more draconian ulterior motive, which is, to entertain himself watching opposing viewpoints duel, "to the death". (So to speak).

If everybody is deleting your comments then I can safely assume that the problem isn't "censorship" :)

Can someone explain to me why there is desire (by some) to spend millions on fake property ? What about when taxes come due ?

You have to think of it like an investment, with little regulations, and very high risk of losing it all. In theory, you will owe taxes when you dispose of the asset (in the US at least).

Personally, avoiding NFT's because of the unregulated, soon to be regulated, wild west / ton of scams / pump and dump schemes, etc. going on.

I have a building in GTA I’ll sell you for 1.5 million US Dollars. It’s a bargain, it swear you’ll make a killing in the future. it’s a told investment. :)

I like to add, (perhaps sometimes only barely) relevant musical accompaniment to threads. So, por vous, and your NFT too::

No I can't. But look up Dutch tulip mania, they drove up tulip bulb prices to the point that you could buy a house for one bulb. These were not entirely valueless, you could plant it and grow a bulb, but people became convinced (up to the day the "bubble burst") that these bulbs would just become more and more valuable indefinitely. I view this similarly.
