No beep after POST

There is no beep after successful POST. Everything is OK, just no beep.
The mobo is Gigabyte GA-7VT600-1394 with Award bios. I cannot see a speaker on the mobo but it is plugged in to the case speaker anyway.

Is this normal for this board?
