No brand name on my video card.

  1. I bought a new video card on Ebay. It was listed as a 6800 but turned out to be an Ultra. Its one of the older ones with the large HSF, 2 DVI ports and 2 power connectors. It says nVidia but no brand name on the card anywhere. Does nVidia sell its own cards like ATI does? Thanks

from what i know nvidia doesnot sell cards directlyto the public. they sell to maufacturs such as msi, evega, then those componys put there names on it and then sell it to public. i have never seen a pure nividia card.

but what is possable is that nvidia sold to an oem company like dell ro gateway and then the perosn you buaght from pulled it out of a dell, gateway, hp, alienware
