No default gateway

i need help opening my ports on my router. i wend into cmd and i have no default gateway lit just reads as :: how else can i find my routers ip address?

You can also find it by taking it back to wherever you got it and they could tell you by searching the MAC address located on the underside of the router. However most router IP address's or default gateway is 192.168.1.1

View Network Connections->right-click->Lan Connection
click properties
on the General Tab, scroll to and click once TCP/IP, click Properties button
on the General Tab there are two portions; click the Obtain ... controls on both
click OK to close
OK again
disconnect the system from the router
wait 30 seconds
reconnect

get a command prompt and entery ifconfig /all to see the new settings
