After pulling my Compaq Presaio S4020WM out of storage ( office closet) I hooked up all cords and purchased a new LCD flat screen monitor. All the monitor will say is " No Signal". I connected the monitor to another computer and it works fine. Please help. Will an AGP card by pass the integrated video?

You should be able to turn off the onboard graphics.

I have not put an AGP in yet. Will it override the internal card? I cannot see any display at this time in order to change any settings. Puter was working fine when I put it up. I did however take the cooling fan out at one point but I can't see how that would have an immediate effect on the display. I am trying to decide whether to buy an AGP card or not. Any info would be helpful.
