No sound just crackles asus a2

hi. when i try to play a sound or music i only get crackles out of my right onboard speaker. i was wondering if there is anything i can do myself before i take it to a repair shop

Have you recently installed any audio software?

nothing really new

the latest software i installed was adobe audition about 5 months ago. that program had been running perfectly. any ideas? is my sound card fried?

Sounds to me like a blown speaker. Happens a lot, especially on laptop computers.

hey thanks buddy but umm the crackles come through headphones and the amp as well so its not just the in built speakers
