  1. hi i got a new laptop for christmas last week and it was made to play games. its a dell M1210 with Nvidi GeForce go 7400. All my games were working fine last night but now they won't boot i just get errors. For leisure suit larry it say 'Failed to allocate D3D device!! Driver/hardware issues?'.

For scarface and need for speed carbon I get an imediate error .exe send report to microsoft.

if someon could help me id really appreciate it cause my dad will kill me if i tell i messed up the laptop after a week thanks in advance

    try reinstalling your directx
try finding a stable or updated driver set for your video card.
