I've just decided to upgrade parts of my puter. I had 256 RAM to start and I just added another 256 stick.. instead of getting a 512 it's showing up that I only have 480.. Any idea what's happened?
Need system info.
Taking a wild shot in the dark, the math shows:
256+256=512-480=32
I'm thinking maybe you have on board video sharing out 32mb
to video?
You can check this in the bios.
